The Board of Directors of Michigan CASA have announced that Patricia Sabin has been named Executive Director of the state nonprofit. Sabin comes directly from heading Kent County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) as its Executive Director for the last six years, creating what is now the Gold Standard for local CASA programs in Michigan. Michigan CASA Board President Daniel Babin stated, "Patty's proven, passionate leadership will allow us to reach more of the abused and neglected children in our state, both through the further development of existing programs and the start-up of new county programs." Sabin has been leading Michigan CASA since July 2015, when the new Michigan CASA office was established in the Grand Rapids area.

Rachel Williams joined Michigan CASA as program administrator in February of 2017. Rachel recently graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Public Policy Analysis and Global Health and Epidemiology. She comes to Michigan CASA with a vast amount of non-profit experience. She delivers key communication through the development of Michigan CASA's website, data and statistics, and social media. She maintains and manages donation records and provides updates for inquires. Williams also provides IT support and oversight for the office.
